Conceria Mastrotto, founded in 1958, is the Group’s
“cradle”. First to be established, it never ceased to
be the Group’s reference point and until this very day is where
our administrative and organizational core is located. Here we produce
polyurethane coated cattlehide leather and suede splits for footwear,
leather items, furnishings and automobiles and suede splits for clothing.
Resistance, waterproofness, breathability, softness and elegance are
the most valued characteristics of our products. This company is also
the Group’s think tank, a research and experimental laboratory
where innovative articles destined to “set the trend”
are developed. Where natural colours and nuances of irresistible appeal
are born.
Thanks to the vast range of colours and leathers produced, this is
one of those places where rainbows are born. |

"Special Star" for the direction of the video celebrating the 50th anniversary .
On May 26, 2010 in Milan was held on the fourteenth edition of Mediastars, one of the most authoritative awards at national level to create campaigns Adv, Corporate Design and Multimedia Communication.
During the awards have been given a Special Star for Best Direction in Audiovisual Technique to video celebrating the 50th anniversary of Gruppo Mastrotto. |

| Mr. Filippo Girardi, Managing Director of Midac Batteries, Gruppo Mastrotto, will present in the faculty of Economics in the University of Padua the development and the reorganization of all internal processes, thanks to the adoption of the lean management principles
Today the company, with a turnover of 106,8 mln Euro, invests constantly the 6% in Innovation and in development of new production technologies.
Dott. Paolo Giubitta, professor of Economics Faculty, has defined the case history of Midac Batteries and the company activity of Mr. Girardi as paradigmatic examples of developing Nord Est area, that permits to have confidence in the future. Midac is maintaining competitive on the market, considering the actual difficult conditions, because keeps 100% of its production capability in Italy, without moving in other countries as many of its competitors have already done. |
